First Trip to the Dentist

Carter had his first visit at the Dentists office. He did so well. It was suppose to be just a happy visit. He was supposed to just watch Mommy get her teeth done. See how easy and fun it was. Then they would count how many teeth he had. First he watched me. He would climb up on my lap and then lay on my belly. He watched closely as they cleaned my teeth with all of the cool tools. He watched as they filled my spit cup up with water. He found all of this very fascinating. At times he even thought he had seen enough to do it all on his own. He tried to take the instruments a couple times so he could work on my teeth. When I was all done they suggested me holding him on my lap so he felt comfortable with them looking at his mouth. I thought he would do much better if he could sit like a big boy. I was right. He did not even wait for me to climb out of the seat before he was taking my place in the big reclining chair. He sat like a big boy and opened wide.


They even let him hold the fluoride/toothpaste. He spent a good amount of the time sniffing it. It was hilarious. Here he is sniffing it.

He went in with beautiful teeth and walked out with these…Do you think we have a case?


Just kidding… Afterwards he got a sticker and a toy. Most of the toys were not toddler friendly so we picked out these teeth for him.
