Carter was up at 5 this morning. I slept right through his calls for Mommy. Craig had to wake me up to let me know he was awake. This is very unusual for me. I am always the one that wakes up when Carter does. (His monitor is on my side of the bed). He can turn over and I wake up. It is only week 2 of classes and already I am exhausted. :-)

Craig got up and got him. Carter tends to favor the one that goes in his room and takes him out of his crib. (I was happy to let that be Craig since I was soooo tired.) I thought for sure he was going to snuggle up to Craig for the hour we had left before we had to wake up. Craig carried him to his side of the bed and Carter got excited to see me. He crawled over to me and said with a huge smile on his face, MOMMY! Then he hugged me and grabbed my face to give me a kiss. He then spent the next 20 minutes giving me kisses, snuggling and smiling at me every time I smiled at him. I kept telling him he needs to go to sleep and that would cause him to give me another kiss. It was a great way to start my day even if I am ready to go to bed already.
