Hi,
I have decided to try to keep this blog up to date. I try to do it on myspace but I am not always great at keeping that up to date either. I will start by pasting my blogs from myspace on here...

Carter slept 12 hours last night. Only waking from 2:30 - 3. Can't complain there. Daddy got out of bed to get him from his crib this morning. I don't think I will let that happen too often. Carter was excited to be with Daddy this morning and showed no excitement for me. :-( This is very sad for me because he always chooses his Mommy over his Daddy. Craig says he was just playing a game this morning when he would turn his head and body to hug Daddy as I held my arms out in anticipation. Carter can be such a wise guy. When we discovered that Carter could decide who he wanted to hold him, he would play a game. He would never go to Daddy. Then he thought it was cool to go between the both of us. Daddy and I enjoyed this game. Showing off his newly found ability to choose who he wanted to hold him. As soon as I got him, Daddy would put out his arms and Carter would go to Daddy. As soon as Daddy had him, I would put out my arms so Carter would choose to come to me. This was very entertaining to us, just as all of Carter's antics are.
This morning Craig discovered Carter can stand supported, with our hands at his waist. He then bends over to pick up one of his little people. Craig and I are always hollering out to one another to show off what we just discovered Carter doing. At one point it almost felt like every day brought something new.
Our most enjoyable thing may just be his hugs and kisses. Carter has been giving kisses to us since around February. He was about 6 months old. He grabs onto our face, ears, nose, hair; anything he can get a grip on and pulls us in for an open mouth, very slobbery kiss. He even makes the mmmmmwah noise. When we pick him up he wraps his arms around us and pats our back, just as we do to him. If he is fussing and you go over and pick him up, watch out because you will be thanked with no less than 2 big kisses. I always follow with a Thank You so he knows how thankful I am to be blessed with such a loving son.I will wrap it up for now, maybe I will return later with more stories of how Carter brings joy to our lives. I have 8 months of blogging to catch up on.
