Family Christmas Celebration

We celebrated our last family Christmas for the year of 2008. We headed to Nani and Papa's house for lunch, presents and then some tubing. When we first got there Carter and Bella were so excited to see each other. They chased each other around the house and just laughed and laughed. It was so adorable. When Bella runs she does it on her tip toes and it looks like she is just fluttering along. We all had such a wonderful time. Thank you Nani and Papa!

Bayley played Santa this year.

Nani made Langston Bree a hat and mittens for next winter. They were so adorable. Auntie Courtney got Langston 2 outfits that were so sweet.

It was so much fun to watch Carter and his cousins have so much fun playing in the snow.

In the beginning there was only one tube so the kids tried sledding down in a plastic pool. It made for a cute picture but they did not get far. They gave up on that idea. Papa came out shortly after and blew up one more tube.

Even Craig had a great time zooming down the hill.
Carter surprised us both when he walked up the hill all on his own each time. Sometimes even carrying the tube all by himself. We thought for sure Daddy would need to carry him up the hill.

During this trip down the tubes went too far to the left and they almost crashed into the archery stand. Craig had to push Carter off of the tube to prevent Carter from crashing with Craig. Carter went flying in the air and took a face plant right in the snow. He talked about it everytime he came back up the hill.

The result of Carter's face plant right in the snow.
Carter thought it was fun to chase his cousins down the hill too. Who needs a tube to have fun?
Even Nani and Bella Bear joined us.

I even tried to tube down the hill. I got nervous though when we picked up speed and started to head toward the archery stand. I stopped us about half way down the hill to be on the safe side.
