Animal Kingdom

We spent our first day at Animal Kingdom.

We got to visit some disney characters.

Became honorary bugs. Carter was scared during this show.

Went on some dinosaur rides. Craig took Carter on a Dinosaur ride that was not safe for me. Turns out the ride is completely in the dark and Carter was scared the whole time. I enjoyed listening to his version of what he thought of the ride... Too bumpy, too dark and too scary.

We played in the dino park.

The boys went on a river rapids ride. Carter was very upset after because his clothes got wet. After asking him the second time if he wanted to go on again, he said yes. He got even more wet the second time.

We saw a Nemo show.

Daddy and Carter went on the Jungle Safari. I waited a while for them to finish. Turns out it took so long because there were some white rhinos in the middle of the road so they had to wait til they moved. Craig said that some of the animals were only 3 feet away from them. Sounds like it was the best safari yet and I had to miss it.

During the Lion King show Carter was chosen to go up and play an instrument and dance around. He loved it... until one of the lion's roared and he came running so fast with tears in his eyes. It took a little while to calm him down.

We ended our night playing video games at the resort.
