A day with Grammy & Grampy
We spent Saturday at the beach at Grammy and Grampy's place. It was a beautiful day with a warm breeze. Last year when we visited Grammy the beach had a lot of man of war (jelly fish) so we avoided the beach for the most part and kept Carter out of the water. We did not see one during our search for them this time so we let Carter play in the water but keep his shoes on just in case.
Building with Daddy.
Collecting sea shells with Grammy.
Click Play... Might want to turn volume down or off, mostly wind noise.

Getting a little more brave in the water.

Even Grampy joined them.

Click Play to see Carter playing in the water.

Building a castle with Grammy.

Putting a flag on the castle.
They forgot the flag so they improvised with a pole and a sea shell on top.

When Carter was in the kiddie pool some other kids joined him. One boy around 5 years old and a girl that was 3 years old. Both were great swimmers. Carter still does not trust enough to let go and learn to swim. He watched the other kids and tried to swim like them. It was extremely funny to watch him. He scrunched his body low in the pool then just paddled his arms while walking. Click play to see.

I know I might have too many pictures of my boy sleeping but he is just so precious and adorable how can I pass it up. He was so tired from his fun filled day with Grammy and Grampy that he could not even stay awake during the drive to the restaurant. He slept through dinner then the 2.5 hour drive back to the condo.

Thank you Grampy and Grammy for a great day. We had a great time visiting with you and the food was yummy!

That video of Carter 'swimming' is hysterical! Even Hayden laughed.

It was even funnier in person. He wanted to swim like the other kids so bad. Sometimes he would splash even more thinking that made it seem more real.
