Unexpected Teachings....
Since Carter started preschool I have looked forward to all the neat things he will learn... The alphabet, counting in order, songs, stories, how to play well with others. I did not anticipate he would learn about kicking butt and boobs. Last week he came up to me in the kitchen and hit me in the bum. I turned and told him no, there is no hitting. He smiled and said, Carter kick your butt Mom. I was shocked. Fast forward to this past weekend and we all are upstairs. Carter walks up to me, lifts his shirt and I say, I see your belly. He laughs and says Carter boobs. I tell him, no, boys don't have boobs. He comes up to me pulls down my shirt and says Mommy boobs... Besides his art I have yet to see the benefit of this preschool thing ;-). Oh and he now puts up his dukes... He does not call it that but it is the only way I know how to describe it. He puts his hands up and positions his feet into a fighting stance and then punches. OH MY! I guess these life lessons were inevitable. I just did not think I would have to face them with an almost 3 year old... Now, I have no proof that he learned these things at preschool. It is actually hard for me to imagine other children teaching him these things in the short 9 total hours he has spent at preschool but I must say the timing of it all might just be too coincidental. He did not do these things 2 weeks ago.

Didn't you get the lesson plan for July? They studied bums last week and boobs this week. You really need to pay more attention to what they send home! (J/K!!!)
LMAO
LOL! It's bound to happen at some point, right?
I'm sorry I haven't been in touch. We need to get together! I still have your dish, all washed and ready to go! Things have just been a little crazy! I'll give you a call probably this week.
