Shawn & Kelly's Wedding

Carter was in a wedding this past weekend. He was the Ring Bearer. We went up to Lynch Park in Beverly for the rehearsal on Thursday night. Carter had the chance to run around and play. In the picture below he is looking at the water, begging me to let him go swimming but the bride and groom were going to be there any moment so I couldn't let him. He was pretty disappointed.

Peek a boo I see you

Rehearsing with Layla. They were actually suppose to be walking on the sidewalk to the right of them but Carter took Layla for a romantic detour. Layla is 5 and very adorable. As they walked down in rehearsal Carter turned to Layla and did his monster growl. Everyone laughed but I was a little worried he would find the desire to be the clown at the wedding too.

Continuing on the detour up to the top. He walked right under the gazebo and pointed up all while still holding her hand. He was showing her all the birds that had made the ceiling their home.

The Wedding Day!

Roar!

Waiting for the Bride and guests to arrive.

As Carter and Layla walked down the aisle I could hear some singing the wedding march. In some of the pictures it almost looks like Carter and Layla are the Groom and Bride just married and Carter is leading the way for Layla. The two of them were so adorable.

I love this picture. Carter looks like the Happy Groom!

I really did not think Carter would stay up with the rest of the wedding party while Shawn and Kelly did their vows. Surprisingly he stayed up there for most of it. He found plenty to keep him busy.

Like swinging the pillow around in the air... He also discovered a small piece of the ribbon that began to fray and he insisted on pulling and pulling and pulling the string out.

Finding feathers in the bush to give to the girls...He also found some bugs to stomp on.

So serious!

Balancing!

The whole wedding party

One of the bride's maids let Carter hold her bouquet. He brought it right over to me and gave them to me. What a sweet gesture. When he realized I gave them back he was a tad upset. He says 'Flowers Go?'

Being introduced into the hall.

The wedding party dance was played and Carter wanted to dance with me. I told him I couldn't but he should ask Layla. He said 'yeah'. So I walked him over to Layla's table and told her Carter would like to dance with her. She was hesitant. Carter took her hand and led her to the dance floor. It was so sweet. A lot of cameras were snappin away.

I put together a Montage of the pictures we took at the wedding if you wanted to see more.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Monteverde!
