Play time outside

We took Carter outside to play. The goal was to get him to learn how to ride his bike. When he pedals he would rather pedal backwards. When he pedals backwards it puts on the brakes so he certainly isn't going to go anywhere. We have been trying for a little while to teach him but I guess he is just not ready. We even put the training wheels on blocks so that I could sit on the ground next to him and show him how to move his feet. I thought he was getting it. He was pedaling forward. But, once on the ground he was back to pedaling backwards. He gave up... We gave up... We took out the dirt bike for Carter and Daddy to ride but the battery died so Daddy came out with Carter's power wheels jeep. He had a great time crashing into the trailer and car. He drove it around the drive-way and tried to drive on the lawn.
