Daddy and Carter playing with remote control cars. The last night before Carter becomes a big brother.
The birth was beautiful. No pain and I was awake and aware of the whole birth. Mommy and Daddy both cried when she was born. We are truly blessed to have two amazing, healthy and beautiful children.
Getting her apgar test. She scored 99!
My awesome doctor, Daddy and our new baby girl Lanie!

Excited Mommy and Daddy with Lanie
Lanie's first visitor, Auntie Alisha and Uncle Scott was there too.
Sitting in the sun the next morning because there was concern she could be jaundice.
Her adorable scowl. 'What are you looking at?'

Our delicious celebration dinner. They roll in this nice set up table with roses and some very yummy food. The nurses even offer to 'babysit' while Mommy and Daddy enjoy dinner. Lanie stayed with us though. She was sound asleep. Daddy had steak and Mommy had chicken cordon bleu. Right after dinner Lanie had many visitors all at once.
Auntie Janice meeting Lanie
Our little girl getting better under the bili lights. Fortunately she was better enough to go home after being under the lights for about 36 hours.
So beautiful
Daddy waiting for the blood results for her bili counts.
Carter was so excited to meet his sister. Mommy came in the house first to see Carter but he wanted nothing to do with Mommy, he asked, 'where is my baby sister?' He was so excited he reminded me of a water molecule heating up and bouncing around everywhere with excitement. It was a beautiful thing to see. Melted my heart. He kept asking to see her hands, her feet, her hair...
Lanie's first official Dr.s visit with her pediatrician. She had to go get checked because of the jaundice. She also needed to go for yet another blood test. Her bili counts continued to go down!
