Some funny things...
  • While registering Carter for soccer he kept saying to me, Mommy, there are crickets. He just kept repeating it til I replied with, you see crickets. Then as he was kicking around the free soccer ball he got I heard a whistle be blown during one of the soccer games being played and Carter got all excited and said, Mommy, you hear the cricket. I quickly realized he thought the whistle noise he was hearing was actually crickets.
  • We are in the car and he is asking a million questions as usual and I said, Carter, why do you ask so many questions. He replied, I don't know. I could not help but laugh.
  • I am working on the computer and he keeps telling me Stitch has no shirt on. Then asks Mommy, why Stitch dont have a shirt on? I look up and ask where is Stitch and he points out the window toward our neighbor RICH. Can't you just eat my kid up? He is so stinkin adorable and innocent.
I registered Carter for soccer this morning and afterwards we headed to Nani and Papa's house to hang out. We absolutely love hanging out at Nani and Papa's house. Carter had a great time doing some gardening and bug hunting with Nani. They found a tiny green grasshopper that pee'd on Nani's hand and pretty sure, pooped on Carter's hand. They found a green catepillar and some other bugs I would rather not touch. Pippa wandered around the yard and tried to play with Molly their puppy but Molly would sit everytime Pippa barked at her, as if in dog language Pippa was commanding her to sit. Lanie got to be held by Auntie and Papa. I got a little bit of a break and some much needed adult conversation time. Thanks Nani and Papa for letting us hang out with you guys. We had a great time.

Carter and his catepillar or green worm friend. I am pretty sure it is a non-furry catepillar.
Carter did not want to put him down and leave him down. He kept picking him up and was pretty upset when he lost him.

I was just about to take a picture of this flower and a butterfly landed behind it just as I snapped the picture then flew away. Perfect timing.
Picking back up his worm.
