I am so very excited to report on December 21st at 2:19 PM EST our power was restored. A long 10 days after we lost it. Carter screamed with delight and turned on the lights immediately. I started making the necessary phone calls, first to neighbors that are away and then to family that were worried. Carter was overjoyed when he noticed our Christmas tree lights come on. He ran to the fridge to open it to make sure that too was working. He then proceeded to run around the house and turn on the light switches and then turn them off then back on, then back off. I think he is just so happy to have the ability to control it.
