*NOVEMBER*
Hanging Wreaths
Craig and I were hanging the outdoor wreaths. Carter grabbed one and thought that they go over his head. He is so stink'n cute! Don't ya think?

A couple days after Thanksgiving we stuck with tradition and went to pick out our Christmas Tree at a local tree farm. Carter was so excited because he got to go on a tractor ride. Once he knew this he went on the whole hunt for a tree saying Tractor Ride! over and over again. He was a huge help though. He helped Daddy push the tree cart to the tree we decided was just right for us. Then he helped Daddy with the saw while cutting down the tree and then he helped pull the cart back to the tree shaker and baler. It was a great time and best of all it was nice weather. I hope you enjoy our pictures!
I thought it would be nice to look at how much Carter has grown over the holiday seasons.
Here he is his first Christmas. He was so tiny. I remember trying to keep him warm.

Here he is last year (his second Christmas). Just barely walking around. Not quite steady on his feet.

Here he is now! So independent and wants to help us. Oh, and talking up a storm. Telling us exactly what he wants! TRACTOR RIDE!

Cars all lined up.
Craig said Carter just might have a little OCD. He does tend to get upset when a mess is made and he must put his cars and people in a row/line when playing. He does take them out and move them around but when done, he puts them back in the line. Craig was playing hot wheels with Carter and called me into the room. Craig said watch this! He moved one of Carter's cars out of the perfectly aligned row and then left it that way. Carter was immediately putting it back. I have witnessed him take out his little people and put them in a perfect line, one behind the other. Yet, despite his need for organization everytime I pick up his puzzles and put the pieces back to their respective homes he runs over and dumps all the pieces back into a pile. It drives me crazy but it is quite apparent from the amount of times Carter does this to me that HE prefers them in one huge lump of a mess. Here is a picture of Carter playing with some of his cars. (this is not the incident mentioned above.)

Giant coloring and Gingerbread houses...
Craig got Carter a Huge crayon bank. I got Carter a huge Diego coloring book. I had intended them both for Christmas but Craig had other plans. Here is Carter coloring. I guess he thought a giant coloring book required a giant crayon. It made us laugh to see how his little mind works.

Daddy and Carter put together a gingerbread house. They did a pretty good job. Carter listened very well when it came to not eating the candies that were to hard for him. He did enjoy a little too much frosting and gum drops though. After the house was all put together the roof began to slide off.... note to self, don't ever live in a house that Craig and Carter built with frosting. :-). Here are some pictures of Carter and Craig putting it together.

Thanksgiving...
It was a crazy hectic day but I enjoyed all of it. We got to see a lot of family. It started with Dad and my brother and sisters along with all the kids coming over for a nice spiral ham breakfast. I sliced up the ham and lost about half of what I sliced on the floor. Had it not been for quick reflexes I would have lost the whole plate. We also had Craig's yummy scrambled eggs, munchkins, pancakes, and sausage. Right after everyone headed out we headed straight to Grammy Dino's house for some great turkey. We were a little late but there was still plenty of delicious food. After Grammy's house we had just 45 minutes for Carter to catch some Z's at our house and then we were off to my Mom's house. We had a whole other Turkey meal. All the foods we ate were so delicious. Thanks for hosting! Can't wait till next year!

First snow fall... Might have been only a few flakes but it was enough to have a snow ball fight. Now when Carter sees snow he excitedly yells out No No. I dont know why but he leaves out the S. No matter how many times we emphasize the SSSSSSSSSS he leaves it off.

Quite some time ago, about a year ago I came across this night and shining armor costume. Carter was too little for it so I put it away for when he was bigger. While doing some organizing I found it. I thought, he is probably big enough now. He loves to dress up in it. He even gets silly and puts Mickey in it.

Making Play-doh creatures...
Carter loves playing play-doh. He prefers for somebody to play with him. He asks Daddy all the time, kitty, puppy, elephant. He asks this because Daddy has made him these play-doh creatures before. Here is a picture.
