We have been very busy! We celebrated Kieley's 4th birthday, Grammy and Grampy's 50th anniversary, and 4th of July. We went to 2 fireworks shows, 3 4th of July parties, and a parade. We also had playgroup since I last wrote.

Play Group
Play Group was at our house this time so Carter's friends came over and we played inside and out. It was a day that was filled with dirt. After playgroup Carter needed a bath.

Later that day, on our way to Kieley's birthday, Carter decided it was his turn to drive the car and choose the radio station.

Kieley's Birthday
Kieley got lots of cool presents. Carter really enjoyed the cake. We got to visit with Isabella, and Carter wore two hats.

Grampy and Grammy's 50th anniversary
Grampy and Grammy renewed their vows at St. Leo's Church. They did it during the 9am mass. Father Dorin wanted to show his parishiners that marriage can last. It was very nice. Afterwards we went to my mom's where we had a nice filling brunch with friends and family.

Devens Fireworks
We packed up the car and went to the devens fireworks. We met up with Hunter, Hunter's Mommy, Daddy, and Granpa. Carter and Hunter played ball, blew bubbles and then when it got dark, they played with light up rings. The fireworks show was beautiful. Carter even asked for more and said fireworks. Well, it was more like he said wors. He tries. Most of the time he does very well with his words.

Kristen's House for a 4th of July Party
At Kristen's house we had some very yummy food. Everybody brought something. There was plenty of Macoroni salads to go around. After dinner David lit a fire and we all got to roast marshmallows and have smores. YUMM YUMM!!! Carter tried climbing into the kiddie pool despite not having on his swimming gear. The boys played ball. Even the Daddy's joined in with the football. When it got dark we walked up Kristen's street and watched the fireworks show from the top of the hill.

4th of July Parade
This was not only Carter's first 4th of July Parade but it was mine too. I LOVED it and Carter LOVED it. I really enjoyed how patriotic people were. Carter liked watching the antique cars drive by. He kept saying cars, cars! He also liked the bands when they walked by which really is not a surprise because Carter loves music and will boogey to just about anything. Carter got to play with some poppers and bottle string things. Carter even got some flags. He waved them around to show he can celebrate with the best of 'em. On our way out from the parade we stopped at the city's water fountain. I should have known Carter would try to climb in and refuse to leave.

Andrea's party
After the parade we went to my friend Andrea's house for a party. There was a pool but we did not swim. I kept him away from the pool by giving him a squirt bottle. We had the t-ball set in the trunk so Carter got to play t-ball with some of the other kids there. One of the dads there said that Carter definately has a talent for baseball. I think so too. He made some friends. There was a little girl there that absolutely adored Carter so Carter and her just followed each other around the whole time. He had so much fun! Thank you Andrea for inviting us!

Nani's house
We ended the night with a nice relaxing dinner at Nani's house. We listened to the rain and the wind. It was a small affair but a much needed relaxing one. Thanks Mom for having us over!

I love the one of Carter at the parade with the big flag over his sholder.

Izzy looks so tiny in the bumbo!

It cracks me up that at the fireworks Hunter and Carter are both looking opposite directions (away from the camera) in the picture with me.
