Another day at the farm
Although it was chilly and cloudy we decided to head out to Davis'. Carter had a great time exploring the whole farm.

Trying out the children's maze. He had a great time running around in this.

Last year Carter was not even able to climb up that rope. He is growing too fast.

Headed down the slide.
Langston enjoying the outdoors too.
Visiting the baby cows.

Visiting the lama

Visiting the baby goats
This baby goat really wanted to get into my stroller. It started with her following me, then she worked her front feet onto the stroller and then eventually she managed to climb completely into my stroller in the bottom basket. I had to get someone to come get her out. I think her name was Gracie.

If you look close you can see she is just about all the way into the basket. Just after I took this she managed to climb completely in. Good thing I saw her climb in. It would have been aweful to get out to the car and have a baby goat stow away. It was rather funny and cute though. When we were over waiting to collect chicken eggs there were two other goats that were trying to eat our stroller and trying to get into the bottom basket. I think they wanted to get to the sunscreen bottle because that seemed to have been their main focus when they got their heads into the basket. Carter started to cry because the goats would not stop eating the stroller. I thought it was funny but Carter cried and kept telling me to get them away. I think he may have been worried about Lanie. I had to have the employees move the goats because Carter was so upset.

Carter waiting in line to go help collect chicken eggs.

Collecting chicken eggs. The very nice lady in the picture with Carter works at Davis'. She was so nice to us during our visits with the animals. She was with us pretty much the whole time we were with the animals. She talked to Carter and got him involved. She then pushed up the next tractor ride so we did not have to wait and hour and a half. She was the sweetest person. Carter was just as fond of her as she was of him.
On a hay ride
Lanie's first hay ride.

Carter checking out the horn.
Carter wanted to go down the twirly pole but when he tried he just said, Mommy, I can't do this.

Using the scooter bugs
Using the pedal cars. Last year Carter was not able to properly use these. This year he made it around 4 laps and I had to make him get off because it was time to go. I wonder how many more times he would have gone.
