Being Silly
Carter is a very silly boy and he makes me laugh everyday. Seriously, if you lived with someone that put on a hat and mittens that were 3x his size in the middle of 70 degree weather, wouldnt you laugh?

A beautiful day
With the days getting warmer and surprisingly little rain Carter gets to go outside a lot now. Here he is trying to skateboard. He is only allowed on the grass with it so he can't move on it.

Carter hears a bird singing and he is trying to find it.

Pippa just chillin'

ART
Carter and I went for a walk Saturday morning and I found some good deals at a yard sale. I picked up an easel for Carter. We discovered that the white board works really great with washable crayola crayons. Carter can draw all over it and with a simple wipe it comes right off. Here is his masterpiece!

After we cleaned off his art he asked me to draw stuff for him. He told me what he wanted and I drew it. I am far from an artist so some things take imagination.

Kenny Chesney
I went to see Kenny Chesney this weekend at Mohegan. We went with Alisha and Scott. It was the first time Craig and I were leaving Carter that long overnight. (We did not get home until 3:50am). We started the night by grabbing a bite to eat. The food court got me all pumped for the concert because they were playing Kenny's music. It was extremely hard for me to contain my excitement. I have not been to a concert in almost 2 years and I forgot how much I enjoy them.

After dinner Alisha and I went to the concert and Craig and Scott went and lost some money.
Our seats were very high up and although Alisha had never before been afraid of heights she was a little concerned with how steep the seats were. I am sure the two very drunk women next to us did not ease her fears. Especially since her fear was confirmed when one of the ladies fell into the row in front of us twice. LeAnn Rimes opened. I was a little concerned I would only know a couple of her songs but it turned out that I knew all but 3. I stayed seated to ease Alisha's fear of me falling.
During intermission I told her there was just no way I could stay seated through Kenny. I needed to stand. When I have gone to concerts in the past I have always been ready to leave by the 2nd to last song. This time around I was sad to have it end.

After the concert we met back up with the guys. They were all gambled out but Alisha and I wanted our chance so we walked around. We had some food and then we did a few slot machines and tried roulette. I only played twice and lost but I really enjoyed it. I think that game can be addictive. On our way out we took a couple more pictures.

When we got home Carter was sound asleep on the floor next to Bayley. Safe and Sound. Thank you Mom for staying over and taking such good care of our boy. It means so much to us.

I REALLY miss concerts! Blair and I used to go all the time! We're just waiting for the right one to come along and WE ARE THERE! I also miss Mohegan, a place we also used to frequent. Blair has promised to take me there for my birthday. Looks like you had a great time! That's wonderful! I'm jealous :)
