We headed up to Old Orchard Beach this weekend. It started out rocky because Carter broke my lap top screen just as we were leaving the house. This put a damper on my mood. By the time Carter and I got to the beach my dark clouds had lifted. Craig said he can fix it. Carter and I went to some rocks to look for crabs and we found a very large one. We took it back to the room to show Daddy when he got there later that night. (He took the train from Boston after work).
After Daddy saw our crab we let him go.
Friday we spent the morning on the beach. Craig made Carter his own little pool on the beach so that he could safely play in the water right at our feet. He had an oceanside pool!
We then headed to the center to eat lunch and play some video games. Carter and I did some skateboarding.
After video games Alisha and Scott arrived. Carter was so excited to see his Auntie and Uncle. Anytime they left us Carter would continually ask for them. When they got there Scott was hungry so we headed back to the center. We played some games, Carter went on a couple rides and then we got Carter a boogie board. Carter had a great time learning how to use it with Daddy.
When back in the room Carter put on Daddy's glasses and says, Carter Daddy. I turned around and found this.... He is so adorable.
We had a great weekend! I am sad that we are already so close to the end of June. With our already hectic weekends this summer it does not leave any time to go back up for another relaxing weekend. I guess that just means that I have something to look forward to next year.
