................................T-Bone..............................

We had to say good-bye to T-Bone last night. He has been sick for 11 months and everytime we thought he was better he would get sick again. It was a very difficult decision and it broke our hearts to make it. The vet said that we have tried treating him with medication that would make any treatable illness better but the medication was not making him any better. These past 10 days he has only gotten a lot worse. The vet said that we ruled out treatable illnesses and more than likely he had something that was not treatable. He thought it was the right thing to do. It helped make the decision a little easier to make because we knew he was not going to get better and after watching him over the past few days we knew he was beginning to suffer. We did not want him to suffer any more so we had to decide. It was not a decision we wanted to make. I miss his snuggly teddy bear face. As many of you know T-Bone was an awesome dog. Everybody loved him. He was friendly, playful, well behaved, adorable and snuggly. We were so blessed to have him become a part of our family, even if for only a very short 5 years.

Please take a moment to say a prayer for him. He will always have a place in our heart.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Poor T-Bone. We'll miss you - even the way you were always licking your chops.

I'm so sorry Christal! My thoughts are with you. Losing a pet is very difficult!
