Hi,

Isabella should be going in within the hour. I spoke to Mom and Courtney at 6:55 and they had not come in yet. Izzy's iron was lower than they would like before a surgery so they gave her a boost of iron. Something in her blood counts were also lower than they would like before surgery so they also gave her a blood transfusion. (Mom and Courtney could not remember what it was called that was low.)

From what I understand, the procedure she is having done this morning is not considered surgery. (still sounds scary to me though) They are going into her thigh and running a catheter with a camera from her thigh up to her heart to take pictures. This procedure will allow the doctors to get a better idea and hopefully a reason for the heart to be working so hard and have too much pressure. This should determine whether Izzy will need more surgery or if the problem will heal itself. The procedure will take about 3 hours.

As I get news I will update all of you.
