Carter amazes us with the new things he can do. Yesterday we got the pleasure of him showing us 3 new talents.

When he woke up I rushed into his room because I could not wait to see that beautiful smiling face of his. I picked him up, changed his diaper and brought him back to bed with me. He was sitting between Craig and I and I covered his eyes with my hand, removed it and said peek-a-boo. He gave me one of his famous smiles. So I did it again. Again it returned a big smile. When I did not continue to play the game he grabbed my hand and covered his eyes with it. It was so much fun and so adorable. Carter knew to play the game he had to cover his eyes. He thought this game required Mommy's hand. He makes me laugh and fills my heart.

Later...

It was after work and as usual we (Craig and I) could not wait to get to my Mom's to pick him up. I am snuggling and loving on him and ask him for a kiss. He gives me one. He is a huge love and gives out kisses all the time but this is the first time he has given a kiss when asked. After giving me my share of requested kisses he gave one to my 3 year old neice, his Auntie, his Nonni and his Daddy when asked. This was so amazing to us that he gave them when requested. Usually we have to take them when we can get them.

Few hours later...

We are sitting on the couch snuggling again and I was trying to get him to sleep. We play this little game that he finds very amusing. He has his pacifier in his mouth and I take it out by biting the back of it. He just laughs when I do this. Well, last night I did it, he was laughing and then he took it back, put it back into his mouth and then took it out of his own mouth and put it in mine. He was sharing... He did this a few more times back and forth. By the time we got the video camera out though, he was done playing his game.

Not a day goes by that he does not amaze me. I thank God everyday for blessing me with this incredible child that I love more than words can say...
